Union Offset moved to Burlingame in 1996, after forty years in San Francisco, and has been under its present ownership since 1985. We made the move in order to expand our logistical capabilities and, as a result, our overall level of service. We have full pre-press capabilities and bindery, multiple shifts, and we specialize in turning quotations and jobs around as fast as physically possible. We have also developed a network of trade vendors with whom we work closely, both on projects not suitable for our equipment, and on overflow work during busy periods.

In building our business, we have endeavored to make Union Offset capable of being all things to all levels of clients. Multiple shifting enables us to turn jobs more quickly than some daytime-only printers. We do not charge rush charges per se, although a premium is sometimes paid to finish a job quickly, as opposed to the most cost-effective manner. In general, we see ourselves as having one mission, be it in production or delivery: to see that the job arrives at its destination within the time frame promised. If that means costs accrued in addition to the original quotation, those costs would only be charged to you by mutual agreement.
